My wife and I were neighborhood friends meeting at some community event some 12 or so years ago,her incredible personality had us immediately engaged.
As the years went by,while not truly socializing with her we had grown to look forward to our frequent meetings on the street or at at the Kew Gardens
Fleamarket and other local spots.
She ,being slightly older than us ,we always seemed to confide in her in regards to health and personal issues as well as retirement conversations. She always responded with nonjudgemental,thought-out and provocative info for which we were always grateful.
We also were so excited to see her living such a full and joyful retirement, with her concerts and shows and museums.
Her passing leaves a void in our hearts ,especially her pragmatism, advice and her infectious laugh.
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to her sister Jackie and her husband as well as all who knew and loved her.

There aren't enough words to say how wonderful Stephanie was as a friend and person. I will miss her beautiful blue eyes, bright smile and her laughter. What a great laugh she had! We shared so many memorable, good times over the past 22 years. I will truly miss her. See you in Heaven!

Dear Jackie - you only got to know me the last year of Stephanie’s life, but I want you to know that Steph and I were friends for over 25 years and she was a wonderful friend.

We did marathon phone calls monthly where we talked about everything and we enjoyed many events together. Twice yearly, we would do something extravagant. We have eaten at most of the high end restaurants in New York City. Some of my fondest memories are enjoying The New York Philharmonic in Central Park, brunch followed by a ballet, attending the Women’s March in 2017, and most recently seeing Hamilton with dinner at Limani Restaurant and basking in the Christmas lights & sounds of Saks Fifth Avenue and Rockefeller Center.

I will remember her fondly and carry around those warm memories.

My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Love Sylvia

I was 7 years old when I first met Stephanie. She was my best friend Jackie’s older sister, and I was in awe of her. She was a teenager smart and beautiful- I actually thought I met a real life Barbie Doll.
One time when I was about 12 years old, Stephanie took us to the beach. This was the first time I had gone without my parents. It was just the 3 of us enjoying the sun, laughing and listening to the transistor radio.
As the years passed I saw less of Stephanie but, always followed her journey through Jackie.
I felt such a sadness to hear of her passing, however, I am thankful for the wonderful moments that are relived and remember.
She will be missed. May she Rest In Peace In God’s Embrace.
