Teofilo is survived by his wife Luz, four children, Monica, Martin, Liliana, and Vanessa. He was also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Colombia.
Teofilo was born on March 4th,1934 in Cartagena, Colombia. He resided in NY for over 45 years. Teofilo worked in the restaurant and hotel industries for many years. After retiring, his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grand children. He was best known in the neighborhood not only for his charismatic and friendly nature, but also for his faithful walking companion, Snoopy, the family's Bichon Frise.

It is located at 162-14 Sanford Avenue. Cremation will take place the following day.
