Tommaso Dinardo, 79, was born on December 12, 1946, and passed away on May 30, 2026. He will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude for a life marked by steadfast faith, quiet strength, and a generosity that reached far beyond his own family.
Tommaso was the beloved husband of the late Nunzia. He was a loving father to Theresa Dinardo and Giovanni Dinardo, and a cherished grandfather of five, a great-grandfather of one, with one more great-grandchild on the way. He was also a dear son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend—holding each role with devotion and care.
A longtime presence in Flushing, New York, Tommaso was the owner of Gigi's Pizzeria. Through his work and daily life, he was known as a very religious man and as someone with a heart of gold—always willing to help family, friends, and even a stranger. In countless ordinary moments, his steady willingness to give, to show up, and to do what was right spoke most clearly of who he was: a man of many things, and above all, a man whose goodness left a lasting imprint.
Visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358, on June 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 10:15am St. Luke RC Church, 16-34 Clintonville Street, New York 11357. Entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, 111 Old Country Road, Westbury, NY 11590.
Tommaso will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
