Venita Lorras suddenly passed away on Nov. 21st at the age of 91. She is survived by her three sons, Theodore Lorras, his wife Terri, Steven Lorras, his wife Linda, and Paul Lorras, his partner Liana, and two grandchildren Melissa and Nicholas.
Born in Manhattan, and a longtime resident of Whitestone, NY, she took pride in raising three sons, while always very involved in her community, her church, and numerous philanthropic organizations. A longtime member of St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Shrine Church, she donated over 30 years of her life to running the senior Citizen program, while remaining actively involved in all facets of the church and its organizations.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 29 , 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing , NY 11358. Funeral services will be held Monday Dec 1st, at 9:30 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Shrine Church, 196-10 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery, 163-06 46th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11358.
