2020, in the comfort of his home. He is survived by three children: myself
(Donna), Louis and Sal, his brother, Paul, his sister, Grace and four
grandchildren: Vinny, Maria Rose, Blaine and Janine.
My dad dedicated his life to his career in the dental technology field. As a
Master Dental Technologist, his goal was to educate dental technicians so that
they could achieve a “master” level in the field of dental mechanics. Founder
of the American Society of Master Dental Technologists and creator of
educational programs, he reached dental technologists around the world.
Even in his retirement years, his love of dental technology never faded. “I have
more work I want to do” is something he often said.
His other great love was for his wife, Rose, who passed in the Summer of
2016. Heartbroken by this loss, he looked for the bright side of his day-to-day
existence by focusing on the love of his children, family and friends. Living his
final years in his Whitestone home was a true source of comfort for him. He
frequently and openly thanked the good Lord for the gift of Whitestone living.
Although heartbroken, the surviving family members are comforted to know
that he is back with my mom. Together they are watching over us to keep us
safe as best they can.
My dad will buried on May 4, 2020 at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Flushing,
NY, in the presence of immediate family only. We hope to have a memorial
service at a future date. Any communication with the family can be directed
to Donna Alleluia at [email protected].
