Ada Schwartz

Ada worked as an Administrative Assistant for the government. Ada married Howard Schwartz on July 2, 1967. They had one child and three grandchildren and were married for 58 years. Ada resided most of her married life in Bayside, NY.

After becoming a mom to her daughter Lori, Ada devoted her life to being the best, most caring, compassionate mother. Ada’s kindness and generosity was treasured and felt by all who knew her. She valued family and friendship most of all. Her hobbies included crocheting baby blankets that she would donate to children in the hospital, genealogy, and reading Jewish novels. She found long-lost relatives through the internet and reconnected with them after many years.

Ada is survived by her husband Howard, their daughter Lori and son-in-law Neal and three grandchildren, Allison, Matthew and Jennifer.

A graveside service will be held at New Montefiore Cemetery, located at 1180 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY, 11704, on November 17, 2025. The service is scheduled to take place from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
