I miss you so much Al. You taught me everything I know about animating. I’m currently doing well in my field and I owe it all to you.  I always considered you a friend and your teachings will live on. As long as I keep doing my artwork it will forever be a reminder that you taught me well

Me and Al went to SVA together. We were best friends at school, we tried to register for every class together every year,  but at the end of the day we'd take the train back to our respective neighborhoods and had our own lives. We grew apart after college, but back then I knew Al as a Brooklyn kid who loved graffiti, loved old school hip hop, was gifted at animation, and who earned his first diploma in the 90s NY school of hard knocks. I love you Al, and I'll never forget you.

We were friends for 30 years. More then friends we were brothers. I miss you everyday, n you are forever with me. I wish we had another 30 years together my brother. I still have your voicemails calling me telling me you love me. I listen to them from time to time when I need to hear your voice.

I met Mr. Pardo back in 2016. I referred to him as "Chief Pardo" because I had the privilege of studying multiple softwares under his guidance at the School of Visual Art's Continuing Education program. He was an excellent leader; he knew his craft, and he demonstrated that knowledge with utmost professionalism and creativity. Chief Pardo was clearly an artistic genius with a style and sense of humor second to none.  I owe him a great deal of gratitude for not only teaching me, but for also contributing his recommendation to my full-time application to SVA. I would not be where I am today without his guidance and generosity. 

Rest in Peace and Power, Chief! Blessings and love to all he knew and loved him. 



I’ve been a friend of Al since 5 years old. We grew up together in Brooklyn and shared so many memories as kids and into our adulthood.   Few years passed where we lost touch, but I I will always cherish the crazy and fun times we shared man. You were part of that trio,  myself, Albert and corey.  We lost our Canarsie link, but I promise to let your legacy forever live through me.  

Albert Pardo was one of the first teachers I had the pleasure of learning from at SVA. I will always remember his chill and easygoing personality as well as his passion for teaching. He always encouraged and motivated us to do our best work and his classes were always invigorating and full of positive vibes. He was an awesome teacher and an even more awesome human being. Rest in peace, man, you will be dearly missed.

I was childhood friends with Albert since Kindergarten. I haven't seen him in 20 + years but he was always that kid that was talented, creative and sure knew how to draw. My fondest memories of him was when we use to collaborate and each take turns drawing parts of a cartoon characters. I've kept these drawings all these years. You will be missed buddy. 

I will forever celebrate you. I love you Al and I'll always hold on to all the memories because they were all perfect.
