Alfred DiFranco

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alfred DiFranco, who left us peacefully on the morning of September 10, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Born in 1948, he lived a life defined by love, devotion, and unwavering commitment to family.

A proud and dedicated member of the Local 3 IBEW union, he worked tirelessly as an electrician, building a career marked by integrity and hard work. Outside of his profession, his greatest pride and joy was his family. He always preached “family first” and lived those words every day, giving his all to his children and grandchildren.

He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine DiFranco, who preceded him in death in August 2024. Together they shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and devotion. He leaves behind two children, Alfio (Roma) and Rachel (Carlos) DiFranco, and two cherished grandchildren, Alfio and Olivia. His love also extended to his “grand dogs,” Paisley and Bella, who brought him much joy.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 4:00–8:00 PM at Forest Park Funeral Home (114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375). A Funeral Service will follow on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the same location.

His legacy of love, strength, and family devotion will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
