How could I have lost so much touch with such a dear friend as to only come across this news today.  Tears are streaming down my face as I write this.  But as I think back to the time we worked together and became good friends, the tears should really be from laughter.  Oh boy, did we laugh.  Amy, I know you're in paradise with you grandmother and big fat cat.  (I thought of you today because I was referring to the phrase you taught me about not being able to dance at two weddings with one behind.) I hope when the light flickers as I walk into a room, it will be you saying hello.  God's lucky to have you back.

She will be missed - She was a Power of Example!

Amy once shared that she had sat through meetings and judged what everyone was wearing or sharing. And then she realized (and shared) “…who am I to judge someone else's cherished mishegas.”

For the past several years, Amy and I would meet about once a month for lunch at a diner, and what else? Shopping.  We often wound up at T J Maxx.  Amy could shop with a vengeance looking through racks with a patience I do not possess.  Sometimes I would show her something and if she didn't like it, she would say “make it go away.”  And I would because Amy was right, of course!  I will think of her on every shopping trip and will miss her deeply.

In 1995 when Amy realized she was going to live she said “Yes” to an offer I made, to coach her into a future life and career plan.  She had tons of willingness to move forward with no guarantees.  She made me believe “coaching works” but chances are it was 90% Amy's hutzpah, 10% my coaching.  She went on to greater things.  I went on encouraged by her inspiration.

Amy was a bright and funny person who immediately fit into our family.  My favorite memory was when we were at Seven Springs for a family reunion.  We were all seated around a bonfire – Amy's first ever – and she piped up with “This is not my America”!  It was her first time toasting marshmallows too!  She bravely went down the Alpine slide and she not only had my respect but my joy in seeing her embrace these new experiences.  She was a wonderful person who truly will be missed.

   I have prayed for you and God has called you home. Thank you for showing us how and what courage looks like when you face fear head on.  Well done my love.  Have a wonderful rest.

I'm so sorry to hear of Amy's passing.  She fought a long battle.  My condolences to her family.

I feel like my most important pair of knitting needles is missing. I so miss your face, your voice, your laughter, our conversations, our shared excitement over our jazz subscriptions, our knitting escapades, and our theater outings.

I got to know Amy through knitting. I was instantly drawn to her. Each time we met to knit it felt as if we had known each other our whole lives. This was Amy, warm; present; open and ready to give advice if you wanted it. I miss her.

Dearest AMY.   A one-of-a-kind friend and human being,  funniiest person in the world yet deeply caring and always there for loved ones.   She lit up the world and lived and loved fiercely.   There will only be one amyG and she she will never be forgotten,  see you again buddy.   May the road rise up to meet u.  Rest in peace,   Amy w.

Amy was such a lovely person.   I am going to miss her....She helped my friend who was diagnosed with cancer.   She brightened everyones day..  She will always be remembered.

So sorry to hear about Amy's passing and the loss to her family and the JVC community.  She was a thoughtful and caring person and advocate for the industry, which was always greatly appreciated.

I was greatly saddened to hear of Amy's passing.  She cared tremendously about this industry and the people in it.  She was always happy to help a colleague and I often turned to her for advice.

I am so saddened to learn that Amy has lost her fight.  What a beautiful person she was!  She had the greatest attitude, professional yet friendly always.  Her work for the industry meant a great deal to her. My sincere condolences to her family, and to her JVC family as well.
