Anita was an extraordinary, strong and resilient person.  I had the pleasure of meeting and working with her as part of WITNESS PROJECT at the Sid Jacobsen JCC.  I remember we celebrated her birthday one year and she was so lovely, as we waited for her car she said "I am 96 and so happy to be here."   She shared her story with us and the students and all of us who are witnesses are honored to keep her story moving forward in this important time and for future generations.   Her light, energy, strength and friendship stay with me.  I am glad as well that we stayed penpals, so I have her cards.  My deepest condolences to Anita's family and friends.  May her memory be a blessing.

So sorry for your lose, I knew Anita through the BJC.  She was an active and vital member for many years.  She will always hold a special place in my heart because she was a very special Lady.   May G-d be with her whole family at this time and always  - Reat in peace Anita you will nmbe missed but never forgotten 💔 😢 

Anita/Anika was a very special Aunt, Great Aunt and Great, Great Aunt to all her family. Despite living in different time zones and continents she was totally involved with her family in the UK. Visiting  regularly when her siblings children were small to see them and her parents. Attending all the life cycle events, crocheting baby blankets for all new arrivals. In turn we visited her to be greeted by a fabulous hostess with a specially baked gugelof. 
We will miss her warmth, humour and zest for life a link to the past who always looked towards the future. 
Our thoughts are with all the family at this time , her legacy will live on in their memories and stories about her.
