Arlene was a very special person. When my sister in law was sitting Shiva for her father I happened to be there also. This story  happened about 35 years ago. My sister in law who is Israeli didn’t have too many people who came to visit. Arlene showed up and in her very sweet way made the time go faster. The amazing part of this story is that Arlene didn’t even know my sister in law. 
This was “her thing” to do this unique Mitzvah and she did it in grace and style. 
May her memory be blessed and may the family emulate her ways and be comforted by her good deeds.
