We lost a great man. I lost a lifetime pal.
I met Art and Dee on our first day at Bayside H.S. Sept 1955 and we remained always in each other’s live. Arthur was a man of great character. He adored his wife, Ann Dee, his daughters Robyn, Karyn and Toby, and his grand kiddies. He always busted his butt as a wonderful provider and he was a great example of how a real man lives his life. I can’t believe he’s gone. 
I thought he’d last forever. 
And, oh how he made me laugh. We spent thousands of hours on the golf course. His amazing wit was always in play and most of it at my expense and the more he sent it my way, the more I laughed ‘til I cried. 
His golf game proved his character. I never had to recount his score. When Art got a 4, he hit 4 shots. A 6, he hit 6 shots, a 10, (yes,
Bethpage dealt us both many 10’s)he took 10 shots. 
We got there at 4 AM, played til noon and got home to be with our families and the following week we went back for more. 
I love you, Artie. you are a one of a kind Rest in Peace, I’ll see you again.
