Audrey Shapiro of Forest Hills, New York, passed away on March 23rd. A quintessential New Yorker, she will be remembered for embracing life with her distinctive charm, sense of humor and enviable energy.
Audrey is predeceased by her husband Sam Shapiro and survived by her children Stephen (Margaret), Susan (Bob) and Barbara, her grandchildren Cassel, Stephanie, Stephen, Matthew, Carolyn, Alison, and Peter and great grandchildren Aidan, Dylan Luke, Jordan, Jonathan and Daniel.
She leaves her family and friends having made an indelible mark on their lives.
Services will be on Sunday March 27th 12 Noon at the Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels, 114-03 Queens Blvd. Forest Hills followed by interment at the New Montefiore Cemetery in Pinelawn, NY. Donations may be made to The Summit School, Jamaica Estates, NY.
