Barbara was a Miss Subways, teacher (just for a bit), wife (for 65 years), mother, Cub Scout den mother, Jeopardy contestant, poodle owner, kugel maker, cookie baker, tennis fanatic, student of Japanese, grandmother, cruise enthusiast, and great-grandmother (roughly in that order, among other things).
Predeceased by Marv. Survived by sons Eric (and Nancy), Gregg (and Ellen) and Michael (and Chie); grandchildren Andrew (and Eileen), Evan (and Basia), Sydney and Joshua; and great-granddaughter Naomi. It was a rough final year - rest in peace, Mom.
A graveside service for Barbara will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704.
