Fabienne Ruth Ouaknine

Fabienne Ruth Ouaknine passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 74.

Born on February 1, 1952, in Casablanca, Morocco, to Rachel Benarroch and Salomon Ouaknine, Fabienne was one of twelve siblings and remained deeply devoted to her family throughout her life. She is survived by her sister, Danielle; her brothers, Albert, Raphael, Pierre, and Elie; and her many cherished nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved siblings, Huguette, Arlette, Alice, Jacqueline, Chantel, and Charles.

Known for her warm smile and kind heart, Fabienne touched countless lives. She had a personality that filled a room. She was a talented artist who loved painting, making jewelry, reading, and spending time with family, especially through photos and memories they shared. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels in Forest Hills, New York, followed by interment at Mount Hebron Cemetery.
