Herbie was a dear friend who was a bank client I had a pleasure service for 17 years in Brooklyn . My mom and sister in law worked  for his company and we all love this man like a family member .I been  was out of touch for years and just found out about this great loss . He was always in my mind and will remain in my prayers . There are very few people like Herbie in this world .

Mr Gruder was my customer at Hsbc bank.... it was always a pleasure to take care of him.   I’m very sorry to hear about his death.   My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My heart is sad I know that now it is in a better place and although his departure has left me devastated I have the certainty that one day we will see each other again, I will miss those long conversations and how good it was with me so I came to love how a Father will forever remember his  will live in me love him as my own father Mr Gruder

Herbert Gruder will always be remembered as an honest and very kind human being. Always willing to be there for family and friends. I have very fond memories of him and above all for always having been there for my son Carl Centeno. May he Rest In Peace. My deepest condolences to Lina and family.
