Hilda Frenkel, age 102, of Hallandale Beach, Florida passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. Hilda Frenkel was a Holocaust survivor from Romania who lost her parents and younger brother but survived and thrived in the US with her husband Salo and her adoring family: Charlotte and Samuel Mowerman, Michael and Ginny Frenkel and Lisa and Ed Charbonneau. She became a grandmother to Stephen and Abby, Lisa and Ed’s children. Everyone who met her loved her, including her electrolysis clients. She loved travel, cooking great Jewish delicacies and her family most of all. May her memory be a blessing always.
A graveside service for Hilda will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Mount Hebron Cemetery, 130-04 Horace Harding Expressway, Flushing, NY 11367.
