Jessica Wolff

FLUSHING, NY - Jessica Wolff passed away on April 23rd, 2025 at the age of 76.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Paul, her children Joanna, wife of Jonathan, and Naomi, wife of Martin, and her grandchildren Yitzi and Ari.

Born Jessica Amann on March 4th, 1949 in Brownsville, Brooklyn, she was raised and spent the majority of her life in Kew Garden Hills, Queens.

Jessica had a thirst for knowledge and a passion for her favorite subjects including the natural world, cats, and science fiction. She was a researcher and collector and found her calling as a children's librarian in the Queens Borough Public Library system. She received a BA in Studio Art and a Masters in Library Science both from Queens College.

Jessica was a gifted artist and had an unparalleled imagination. She created art in some form every day of her life be it writing fiction, drawing, painting or crafting.

Jessica loved wordplay and was known for her puns.

She took great pride in her position as Board President of the Co-op where she lived since 1990.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Jessica will be missed by all who knew her.

The funeral was held at Mt. Judah Cemetery Friday April 25th, 2025 at 11:00AM.

Shiva is observed Sunday 4/27 and Monday 4/28 in Allentown, PA at 2111 West Highland Street from 12-7pm.

In NYC Shiva will be observed Monday 4/28 - Wednesday 4/30 from 1:00PM - 5:30PM

at the Margaret Tietz Rehabilitation Center 164-11 Chapin Pkwy Jamaica, Queens. Visitors should ask to see Paul Wolff, Room 230. The family will get up from Shiva Thursday morning.

May Jessica's memory be for a blessing and may her family be comforted among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

A graveside service for Jessica will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mt Judah Cemetery, 81-14 Cypress Ave, New York, NY 11385.
