Jiaao Zhang

Born in China, on July 18, 1945, Jiaao graduated from Tianjin University with bachelor’s degree, and later achieved Masters degree in Electrical Engineering at City College in NY. He overcame tremendous obstacles in life, and always found a way to live life to the fullest. He was a respected teacher and was known for his wisdom and his passion for traveling.

Jiaao was preceded in death by his wife, Zhixi. He is survived by his daughter, Julie.

Jiaao will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity, and love for his family and friends. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him. He was the best husband and father anyone could’ve wished for.

Friends and family are invited to gather together and share fond memories of Jiaao on August 2, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home, located at 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375, United States. The service is scheduled for August 2, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
