Happy Mother’s Day grandma I celebrate today with the memory of me telling you I am going to be a mother.

Mom,
My heart still ache with sadness, and many tears still flow. What it means to lose a mother no one will ever know.
According to Revelations 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
You have loved me unconditionally, always there for me when I needed support, advice, mom you will forever hold a place in my heart I love you.
 I know God is welcoming you with open arms saying "Well done good and faithful servant." 
Long life is the reward of the righteous, yes mom you had a long life you nearly make it to 93.

I adore mommy Anne. She has a great demeanor. She loves all people. I have nothing but positive memories about her. Especially her moves when she's dancing happily. I'll definitely miss her. However, she's in a better place now, resting peacefully in heaven. Mommy Anne you will always be loved forever and ever! ❤🙏

In September 2016 I started my gratitude journal and wrote this about grandma: 

Grandma thank you for loving me so much and so hard throughout my entire life and thank you for going through life events with me you are a true partner and soulmate 
I am grateful for 
When you sing happy birthday
When you call me and say you love me
When you blow me a big kiss at the end of each call
When we spend time together and you reminisce and just talk about old days 
Your cooking when I was growing up

From 2016 to 2020 all these points remain true and relevant. I’m going to miss my grandmas who has always also been my friend. 

I remember moving from haiti and landing in NY you were so happy to see me and my sister, you are one of the best grandmother anyone can ask for I miss going to NY almost every weekend to go see you and the family I used to get so happy knowing we were going to visit, I love you and rest easy

Dear my lovely grandmother ,  my heart hurts so bad I still can’t believe this , Words can’t explain how I feel , knowing you were coming to visit me would be everything to me I would follow you and mom around everywhere then cry when you were going back home you made me so happy . Witch is why this hits me hard family issues should have absolutely NOt made us loose our touch because family is everything to me !! I from the bottom of my heart am so sorry I was not there for you while you were in pain 😫 .! If I could rewind time I would go back to when I was 10 waking up to you making breakfast for everyone morning kisses and the love you had for me 🥺 ,  seeing my baby bottle that you said you would always keep for me . Grandma we remember coming over and hearing your slippers drag with you to greet us at the door so excited saying” pitit mwen yo” then hugging us so tightly and giving us a bunch of kisses. Offering us what ever it is you had.  Your smile was infectious, We’ll always remember how funny your were, how loving and caring you were.  Couple days before you left us we got to see you, kiss you, hold your hand and you held ours back. We love you and we know you loved us just as much. You got to live such a long and beautiful life. Until we meet again Grandma we love you.

All we can do is continue to keep all that grandma stood for alive in our lives by living those values.  Our bodies are just vehicles transporting the soul. her body might no longer be present but Grandmas “soul” lives on. My heart may not feel as whole as of now but I know with time not only will you have given me strength you’ll guide me through life with your wise ways. I’ll always remember our late night convos and your advice. Your sweet voice will forever be in my head. 

To my dear mother, thank you for always being a listening ear. I remember our long daily talks, you would listen, laugh and offer your wisdom. I will cherish those moments forever. 
God of Immeasurable Mercies, by your power, Jesus conquered death and ascended in glory. I entrust my mother into your care, in the name of Jesus Christ. As my mother has departed to live for eternity with you, I thank you for the memories I have. I thank you that she was made in your image and reflected your love. You are the Lord of all life, you brought my mother into existence and you have now called her home. I pray that she will enjoy the fullness of your presence through all eternity. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.❤️

This beautiful dove flew above. My heart aches as my tears flow because I didn’t have you for long. Your tight embrace, the love n your kisses, the warmth n your hands that felt as I laid across your bed or after every greeting. Your acceptance meant the world to me. You was life to me after a long night at work- I could feel the excitement everytime I would come to visit. You was My girl. Your genuineness melted my ♥️ n filled my life. It was a honor to have known such grace- memories is all I have left and I will cherish them as I have cherished you.

I remember when my dad would pick Jay and I up to spend the day together. We would always go to Mommyann’s. As we walked down the hall to her door we can smell her cooking and would be so excited cause it always, ALWAYS taste amazing. Mommyann would great us at the door and hug us so tight. You can  feel how much she loved And missed  you in those hugs. Then she would shower us with kisses. Mommyann also made sure we were full beyond belief... eat until we couldn’t anymore. I love her so much and knowing I was going to see her... even as a young adult brought me so much happiness and comfort. Her hugs and her telling me she is so happy to see me, made me feel so happy. The last time I saw her in 2019 and I sat next to her she looked at me and said “ I love you and I’m happy now” and I will always replay that memory  when I’m missing her most. 

Maman, thank you for everything. Thank you for the hugs, letting me sleep in the bed with you, and thank you for green sos pwa. I love you so much and I’m so glad I have nothing but fond memories when I hear your name come up. Nobody can take your place in my heart, and I will miss you dearly. You were the only person who said I have nice feet, I’ll never forget that. It’s a blessing to have been your grandson and I will always remember the times we shared. Rest easy, I love you, and I’ll never forget you.

I will never forget your tight hugs and the pure joy and excitement in your eyes when you saw David and I. The love you’ve shown me over the years is something I will never forget and remember for the rest of my life. I love you so much and I will miss you. My heart hurts knowing that I can’t see you anymore, but I know that one day we will meet again.

There's nothing in the world compared to losing our matriarch.  The true pillar for which we set our own foundations for our families.  Grandma you live on through us, your teachings and your recipes. We will continue the traditions you have taught us and we will cherish the steadfast love you have shown us over the years.  We are your legacy and we will carry the torch. Thank you for every moment we shared with you.

To my mother, 
Wednesday April 15, 2020 mother left us in cruel silence. My Heart will always remember our moments of sharing together. Tears will stop flowing one day but the void that leashes never fill. Now I feel helpless knowing what to do tormented by your absence. I hope that one day we will all be reunited in the house of the eternal where it is good to live. 
Lord, we recommend the soul of your servant Louise Anne-Marie Jeanty to you. That leaving this world, she will live forever with you by your merciful goodness, erase the faults that she may have committed and receive it in your peace and in your joy.

Le Mercredi 15 Avril, 2020 maman nous a quitte dans un silence cruel. Mon Coeur se souviendra toujours de nos moments partage ensemble. Les larmes cesseront de couler un jour mais le vide que laisses ne se comblent jamais. A present je me sens demunie ne sachant que faire tourmentee par ton absence.  J’espere qu’un jour nous serons tous reuni dans la maison de l’eternelle la ou il fais bon d’habiter.
