Marilyn Burkhardt nee Stern. Age 91. Marilyn, a long time resident of Chelsea in New York City, she grew up in Brooklyn spending her winters in Miami. Marilyn graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1954. She had an accomplished decades long career at The City Planning Commission, retiring as the Executive Director of City Planning. She is survived by her beloved daughter Nancy Pelton and cherished granddaughters Reed and Gray. A private burial will take place at Mount Carmel officiated by Rabbi Richard Weiss
