Born to Henriette and Victor, he is survived by his children, Jeanne, Larry, Linda, their mother, Diana, 4 grandchildren, his dedicated nephew, Phillip, his niece, Linda, and her husband Roger, many other nieces, nephews and cousins, and his dear Chinese family, Pei Zhen, Kha Ding, Pei Man, Pei Ni, Go Chin, Xiao Yu, their siblings,

children and grandchildren, along with many friends who bestowed with all generosity their efforts and

love to provide companionship and comfort.

Marty had an illustrious career with IBM, and surmounted great adversity

as a result of an accident that left him paralyzed. He persevered

through his physical challenges to return to IBM, become an accomplished

wheelchair athlete, and a board member to various research and

charitable organizations. Further, he mentored many youngsters, and was

the go-to homework resource for myriad math, physics, and debate

assignments, that he lovingly gave his time to help.
