Mike was one of those people who left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know him.

To my kids, he was “Uncle Mikey,” and they loved him to pieces, as did I. He had that rare quality that made people feel not only loved, but truly seen, protected, and remembered. No matter how much life threw at him, and it threw a lot, he never lost his goodness.

Mike loved his friends and family deeply. You could feel how much each person meant to him in the way he spoke. He had a way of showing up for people, making them laugh, checking in, and fee like they really mattered.

Watching his service today was beautiful and heartbreaking. Every word spoken about him captured what so many of us already knew. He was deeply loved, and he gave so much love back.

My heart is with Bunny, Lisa, Shayna, Simon, Bruce, and everyone who loved him so dearly.. Mike will be missed more than words can say, but his spirit, his kindness, and the love he gave will stay with all of us forever.

While we didn’t know Michael well, we were neighbors for years. He always took the time to say hello and greet my children. His warmth and kindness always showed, even in those small moments. Condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

i remember when i first met michael. he was 7 at the time. i took him and his friends to a place called alice's hole in hurleyville ny. just a little pond. but he and his friends loved it. they dug under rocks for tadpoles and salamanders and had a great time. i fell in love with him then. never forgot the look on his face while they were doing that.

So very sorry for your loss. We met Michael for the first time in Mallorca. We were instantly friends & enjoyed his company at every family get together.

My condolences for the loss of your son, Michael. As his childhood babysitter,  I remember him as a sweet, affection boy who loved dinosaurs and snuggling.

Mike was such a great person he'd going to be missed..

Mikey was a light to everyone who knew him. As young in his 50s as he was when we were teens. Though I moved across the country, when I was in FoHi or chatted with him he always brought a smile to my soul. He loved his family more than anything and wanted to do everything he could to show them how important they were to him. I've lived away a long time but he told me if I ever needed him to check on my mom to let him know and to give her his number in case she needed anything.  He was a good soul who passed through this world with a lot of injuries and loss but it never tarnished his goodness. He will be missed by many, but anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him knows that his soul is free and he will never leave us fully, because we were all better for knowing him. Deepest condolences to all who loved him, especially Bunny and his sister and aunt who he never failed to mention when we talked ❤️.
