Miguel Angel Cervantes was born in San German, Puerto Rico on September 29, 1944 the seventh of eight children. He traveled to New York City at the age of 17 to join one of his older sisters. There he earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. His love for the Lord led him to seminary school where he earned a Master’s degree in Divinity. His three children were front and center in his life and benefited greatly from his immeasurable love.
Miguel died on April 18th, 2016 surrounded by his three beloved children: Josie, Miguel and Keiko. He will be sorely missed by the myriad of family, friends and colleagues who were blessed to have him in their lives. “The song has ended but the memory lingers on.”
Memorial services for Miguel Angel Cervantes will be held at 11:00am- 2:00PM on Saturday April 23, 2016 at the Forest Park Chapels 114-03 Queens Blvd. (corner of 76th Road) Forest Hills, NY 11375
