Monica Moonsammy

Born in Guyana, Monica faced life with resilience and determination. As a single mother, she courageously owned and operated a successful store while raising her children in her homeland of Guyana before immigrating to America. Her tenacity and devotion to her children and grandchildren defined her role as a true matriarch.

In America, Monica dedicated herself to providing a better future for her family. Her immediate family includes her loving children, their spouses, five adoring grandchildren, and her beloved dog, all of whom survive her. Monica's nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstone of her family's strength.

Arrangements for Monica's services are as follows: family wakes will be held at the Moonsammy Residence from June 28th to 30th, followed by a viewing on July 1 2024 ,from 4:00 PM to 9pm and funeral service 8Am to 10AM on July 2nd 2024 service at Forest Park Funeral Home ,114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hill ,NY 11375 . She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery, where she will find eternal peace.

Monica Moonsammy will be remembered for her courage, resilience, and the love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy as a devoted single mother and matriarch will continue to inspire and guide her loved ones for generations to come.
