Myrna

A very unique human being and cousin to me. I will never ever forget those summers in New York at Elder Ave, and Noble Ave. We went to the pool with Michelle and Joey, I was a young teenager then. We would also drive to New Jersey to go to Palisades Park and her favorite Dept. Store, trips that I have never forgotten as well great memories which I have shared with my two kids and hopefully will share with my grandchildren.

When I was much older and working We kept in touch via cell. She had a phrase when she would here my voice and say in Spanish “ Karajo! Cuando tú trabajas?” English “Dam! When to you work?” I used to call from airports traveling on bank business which was often. We my wife Elsita spent great times with her at the corner Diner and at Family the Italian Restaurant we loved that pizza. When we stayed with at her apartment we slept in her room we talked into the early morning hours.

Well, I could write a book of my experiences and what she taught me but for now, Myrna I love you and you will be always be remembered.

My earliest memories of my sister revolve around childhood games that we played together: pick up sticks, ball and jack, and Chinese checkers. I also used to read her Betty and Veronica books on the sly.

My sister was also handy with the baton and was an avid rollerskater. I remember my brother painting her name on a metal suitcase she used to carry her skates in.

I will always recall these childhood memories.
