Just listen d to the whole 2 and 1/2 hours of your father’s USHMM video testimony.  Peter z””l was too modest about everything, including how he made it through the Nazi-Iron Cross era.  He was too modest about his life, his skills, his brave and treacherous odyssey to Palestine through Cypress, his adapting to life and a career in NY, his one- minded determination in making it possible THRU contacts and efforts in assembling collections of historically meaningful artifacts for our people, be they  amulets or Antisemitica, writing his own learned catalogs, getting the latter exhibited at the Wolfson Museum in Jerusalem, etc. And you, Michael, the wise and poetic -.and motorcycling -  son at his side, learning, working, helping, caring for him indefatigably to his last days…and also deserving credit for the gift you gave the  Jewish people, all people from around the world, and to history itself, via the Ehrenthal Collection.  I was impressed with you and  your father z””l when I first met you at the 56th Street gallery. And what I saw became part of my own surprised knowledge and my dissertation. If I get it out there I’ll include acknowledgements to you both - but if I can possibly get my new planned lecture program together (which will wind up taped and at some point on you/tube or the USHMM website..that’ll be just one additional way you too will be remembered when the three of us have all retuned to the earth…hopefully living again as part of the mound of grass we wind up nurturing with our recycling bodies.  MEANWHILE you really should take my advice and try to publish some of your remarkable and beautifully profound  sonnets in the sonnet journal I recommended to you, and self/publish a volume via Amazon - No vanity act but something even famous authors are doing so as to get rid of the often exploitative (and often lazy) middleman publishers who feed off their creativity and hard work!
