Ronald Pierre Jordon

Ronald Pierre Jordon, age 68, of Staten Island, New York passed away at Fairview Nursing Home on Friday, September 22, 2023. He was born June 15, 1955, in Chattanooga Valley, Georgia, the son of David R. Jordan and Minola (Tate) Briggs.

Survived by his sister Felicia Jordan-Knight, sister-in-law Beatrice Jordon, Nieces Karesha Jordon, Sayleen Jordon, Nicki Rivera, Kara Jordon, and Bria Nieves (Jordan). Great- Nieces DeAngela Farrow, Kimani Knox, Naloni Farrow, Ladream Taylor, Jada Thompson, Jasmine Thompson, Tynia Finney, and Haley. Great Nephews Jerimiah Finney and Richard Watkins. Cousins Paula Basham of Roanoke VA, Betty Rosser of Richmond VA.

Predeceased by Minola T. Briggs(mother), David R. Jordon (father), and brothers, David M. Jordon, and Keith O. Jordon. Nephew Noel K. Farrow (Sweetpea).

Ronald was raised with his siblings David, Felicia, and Keith in the Bronx, New York. It was during Ronald's youth that he learned how to play the bongos, and he was really good at it. Ronald also enjoyed listening to music. He took pride in dressing up, according to his sister. Basketball was also one of his favorite sports."

Previously living on Staten Island, he worked in several barber shops and enjoyed connecting with people.

He spent his weekends watching sports and going to the movies with his older brother David. No matter what obstacles he was faced with, he loved and supported his family. We have many memories to hold onto. Ronald had a great smile and a witty sense of humor.
