My dear old friend... our paths crossed and parted so many years ago now. I hope your spirit is home and there is peace. I remember you fondly.

I am a former classmate of  both Ron and Don from PS 165 and Booker T Washington 54. I an honestly say I knew him way back when.  Ron was always kind hearted and had the quirky sense of humor that made him distinguishable from Don. My thoughts and prayers go out to Don, his twin, and the rest of his family.

To you Lucille I bestow my deepest sympathy.  Ron was truly a kind and caring person. Although I was his Supervisor, I saw him more than an employee, he was something that's hard to find and that is a friend.  I really enjoyed working with him for so many years.  I will keep you in my prayers.

I knew Ron for a short time but was able to see the loving, caring and good hearted person he was.  Lucille took good care of him with all her love.  My condolences to Lucille, Bryce, Andy,Don and the rest of the family.

I am so sorry to have heard of the lost of Ron. He will always be in my memories. Grief can be so hard, but, memories do help us cope with it. I cherish these memories forever.

Of course, like all of you, this is heart wrenching to write. It is so difficult to say goodbye. Goodbye to nearly 3 decades of friendship and good times. Good bye gives reality to a  big void in our lives  & heart. Especially to have to write what is in my heart it instead of celebrating with my  dear friend face to face. As often, I thought we had more time. The last time we spoke was over the phone over a year ago when Ron was standing strong in his fight against his illness and was getting married to his sweetheart Lucille. I am so happy & thankful to God, that He gave Ron his heart's desire. My sympathies & prayers go out to you Lucille ,Donald, Andy & all.  I thank God for the blessing of knowing and sharing many good times with Ron. Several of us gravitated towards each other in AT&T and formed a close knit extended family. We each have our own personalities  strengths and gifts that blend so harmoniously. I will always remembers Ron's kindness thoughtfulness, shyness, he funny faces and larger than life humor. Now, that oxymoronic. But then I'm talking about Ron! I speak  almost daily, some of Ron's sayings , Do you still take exact cash?" ;"has anybody seen reality?" & "what it is; what is was & what it will be" I still cannot say it like Ron did though.  Knowing and remembering the joy & merriment he gave to us , I can go from mourning into rejoicing for his life and ours.  I celebrate because  I know that when his body ceased, his spirit is forever soaring! With all the laughter he brought to us, It was not God's will for him to languish but it was his time to be with the Lord and be at peace. I know this is a temporary good bye or so long.  So¦ so long Ron. You used to say thank you to me for lifting your spirits. No my friend, Thank you for lifting mine!. Thanks for the memories. I love you & miss you.

A kind and gentle soul has been taken away much too soon…  It saddens me that Ron's no longer with us… but he will always be fondly remembered…  Lucille, Bryce, Adam, and Don, please accept my condolences.

Ron was a good neighbor and an incredibly resilient man.  When I moved onto the floor of the apartment building where he lived, he welcomed our family by volunteering to restore the antique nameplate on our door. He  cared about beauty, a trait that was obvious in his photography. During his illness, his determination to enjoy life and make the most of a bleak situation was an inspiration to us all.  We send our condolences to the family and all those who loved him.

Ron was a good friend of mine. I thank God for the time we spent with Ron. Ron was a good, responsible & caring person. God Bless Ron's family. Rest in peace my friend.
