I knew Sheila for more than 60 years. We did not see each other often but we kept on touch through those years. We met when we worked at Judy Bond Blouses. We visited once a year when I moved to Boynton Beach and we always enjoyed our visits. I always was on the outlook for stamps for her. I enjoyed her many e-mails.
I will miss Sheila very much.

Rest in Peace Old Friend. I will think of you every time I see a pop top on a can. I had all my friends saving them for you :) I'm grateful for all the good times and laughter we shared for so many years. My Condolences to your Family.

I knew Sheila from our exercise classes at Temple Beth Shalom. She was a very special person, generous to a fault, always willing to help, and always smiling. She had an incredible mind and would always win at Scrabble, my favorite game. She was a very strategic player and that was a good part of her secret. She found places in which to put words that often resulted in several times the original value of the word. What a mind!
I am glad we shared times together and I will miss her. May she rest in peace!

We played Scrabble once a week. Sheila was an astute player and usually won most of the three games we played each week. I learned some savvy words and moves from her.

When I downsized, Sheila became the beneficiary of my family stamp collection. Stamps were a passion of hers.

My latest memory of Sheila was advising her about where she could get the Covid vaccine locally. We were there the same day in March, 2021 for our first shots.

I met Sheila in January of 2004 at the old JCC when I started working for JCS and i came in to check out the seniors program. When Sheila realized who I was she immediately told me that she would like to help me with anything I need to oversee the program. And so she did and became my number one volunteer for our Aviva program. she continued to do so until last year. She was the most committed person, reliable, honest and smart. She never told me what to do but always gave me her opinion and would tell me that her mother always told her that she could never know what goes on in her head since she always thought and analyzed a situation in the best way possible. I always followed her advice. She would come once a month to my center to update the lists and bring me the stamps if she found any new ones for my collection since she was getting herself as well. She sent me every Thursday when she went to the Library she would send me many jokes that I would use on Friday in our daycare center. I loved Sheila and I can’t believe I didn’t get to see her and say good bye to her. I was scheduled to go up few weeks ago after we had a nice long talk over the phone but she then asked me to wait and so I changed my visit for tomorrow but now it’s too late. I want to think that she is taking her nap when she will disconnect her phone so no one can disturb her and is resting. I miss you my friend. Love Ya!!!

I will miss Sheila's smile and her diligence in helping to run our exercise classes in Temple Shalom. She was the enthusiastic recipient of the postage stamps which I collected for her.
May she Rest In Peace.
