He emigrated to the US from Ukraine in hopes of building a better life and worked hard as a limo driver to provide for his family. He was a sports lover and wouldn't miss a basketball or hockey game-he loved the knicks and the rangers.
He was a kind soul and an animal lover. His hobbies included fishing and when the weather was right, he would go every weekend he could. He loved his grandchildren immensely; Ava, Dylan and Katerina; and enjoyed watching them play and be.
He is survived by his ever devoted, loving wife Victoria, his loving daughter Gabrielle and her husband Christopher and his sister Elizabeth Khalif.
A Funeral Service will be held at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels, 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375, US, on September 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Mount Hebron Cemetery, 130-04 Horace Harding Expy, New York, NY 11367, US, on September 1, 2026, from 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm.
