To Rosalinda and family,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Teddy, and for this late remembrance as I just found out. Teddy was a real mensch, as everyone knows. I met him first as one of my dad’s racquet ball players at the 92Y, and then several times after that when graciously offered to help design my engagement and wedding rings, as well as a few other things. He was always up for good conversation and laughs. Even when he had to stop playing racquet ball he joined in as long as he could meeting with “the guys” for dinner from time to time. Everyone loved him, including me and my husband Tom, and we count ourselves fortunate to have known him. May his memory be a blessing.

Each person leaves an impression both on initial meeting and, in the event of a long friendship, a more permanent impression.  Teddy's initial and lasting impression is of joy, love, warmth, and determination.

There was the time that all Teddy wanted was to walk his baby down the aisle.  Despite the naysayers, he accomplished his goal - for the love of his daughter.  Everything Teddy did was, at least in part, for the love of his family.  He was an equally giving and entertaining friend.

The Lazarus family, by blood or by heart, is richer for having known him.
The pain of loss will hopefully be balanced by all the good Teddy brought out in Rosalinda, Ellana, Ari, Kara, and the big beautiful family they created.
