Mr. Cecil James Sims, age 91 passed away February 16, 2011. Mr. Sims was born December 9, 1919 in Knox County, Indiana. He was a World War II US Army veteran and had been a Gulf Oil gas station owner for 20 plus years. He was preceded in death by his parents; Frank James Sims and Rose Sutton Sims. He is survived by one son; Greg Sims, two daughters; Cecilia Sims and Sherri Chandler, his companion; Doris Durmire, two grandchildren; Brittany and Caleb Chandler and one Great Grandson; Matthew Poulter. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011 in the Parkway Garden Chapel with Pastor Eddy Wright officiating. Military Honors will be given to Mr. Sims. His family will recieve friends at Parkway Garden Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m.
