Imogene "Nanny" Ward

Imogene “Nanny” Ward, 81, of Forest Park, GA passed away April 28, 2013. Mrs. Ward was born in Gainesville, GA to the late Otis and Nora Newberry. She is preceded in death by a daughter Becky Barton, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband Ralph Strickland of Forest Park, GA; daughters Peggy Kight of Griffin, GA, Louise Strickland of Forest Park, GA, Patsy LeCroy of Forest Park, GA, Debra Sullivan of Stockbridge, GA, Pam Tedder of McDonough, GA, Ginger Ellis of Forest Park, GA; son Billy Strickland of Forest Park, GA, Sister Sally Holland of Forsyth, GA; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Parkway Garden Chapel with Dr. Reed Crumbliss officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Parkway Garden Chapel, 1000 Forest Parkway, Forest Park, GA 30297. 404-366-3522
