Richard "Ricky" Spinks

Ricky Spinks, age 59 of Ellenwood, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010. He was a self-employed upholsterer for many years. Ricky was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Reid & Grace Carnes Reid, his mother, Peggy Reid Padgett and his brother, Robert Spinks. He is survived by his wife, Janie; daughters, Samantha (Matt) Davis of Lake City, Mandy (Gary) Heath of Woodstock; grandchildren, Madison Spinks, Dalton Davis, Hayden Davis, Shellbi Ryder, Marcus Heath, Jacob Heath; brother, Jimmy (Barbara) Spinks of Loganville and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Ward’s Parkway Chapel with Rev. Gary Shelton and Rev. Winford Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Villa Rica, GA. Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Spinks was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. He will be missed.
