Mr. Ronnie Leon Shumate, 62, of Stockbridge, GA passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011. He is the son of Leon and Dotsie Shumate. Ronnie is preceded in death by his daughter: Sandy Shumate and brother: Lonnie Shumate. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his children: Ronnie Shumate, Jr. and Cynthia Warren; loving sister: Connie Robbins; brother: David Shumate and one grandchild: Alicia Warren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 6-8PM at Parkeay Garden Chapel, 1000 Forest Parkway, Forest Park, GA 30297. Services honoring Mr. Shumate will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 1PM. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
