Mr. Steve Steve M. Barger

Mr. Stetsel (Steve) Barger, age 82, passed away Monday, November 8, 2010 in the Southern Regional Medical Center. Mr. Barger was a long time residence of Forest Park. A retired baker with Golden States Food. Steve loved having dinner and attending Country Bluegrass and Gospel singings with his special friends. Steve was a member of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his sister, Bobbie Bagley, of Atlanta; nieces and nephews also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Ada Ellis Barger; two brothers, Ellis and Ronald Barger. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 11 at noon in the chapel of Parkway Garden Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Carden officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at noon.
