

It is with great sorrow, the family of Aileen Mae Cameron, age 77, of 724 First St. W., Fort Frances, Ontario, announces her passing peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2011.
She was born April 16, 1933 in Sabine Township, Ontario to the late Thomas (Jack) and Mabel Pigeon. On June 19, 1954 Aileen was united in marriage to Sterling Cameron. Following their marriage they raised their family in both Whitney, Ontario and Fort Frances. Aileen was well known for her cooking skills and was a very talented quilter. She also loved spending many happy hours with her husband and family and will be dearly missed by them.
Aileen was predeceased by her husband Sterling, of 58 years on February 9, 2011.
She was also predeceased by one brother, Norman Pigeon, one sister Marion Yantha, and son-in-law David Kuiack.
Aileen is survived by her four children, Cindy Cameron, Laurie (Forch) Mauro and Reg (Lisa) Cameron of Fort Frances, ON., Ray (Shannon) Cameron of Winnipeg, MB.; five grandchildren Jason Kuiack (Janet), Jaala Plaskett (Sean), Logan Cameron, Sonja Cameron and Ryan Cameron.; great grandchildren Malia, Keira and Abbey Plaskett; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Carswell of Bracebridge, ON., five brothers-in-law, William Cameron of Madawaska, ON., Irvine (Jessie) Cameron of Cornwall, ON., Ivan (Ines) Cameron of Pembroke, ON., Calvin (Linda) Cameron, and Wallace (Judy) Cameron of Armprior, ON.; two sisters-in-law, Iva-Lois (Richard) Manley of Owen Sound, ON., and Doreen (Gary) Carlton of Shelburne, ON.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place at Rainy River Cremation Services in International Falls, Minnesota.
A memorial service to celebrate Aileen’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ontario with Father Wayne McIntosh officiating.
Inurnment will take place in Lady Frances Columbarium in Fort Frances Cemetery in Fort Frances, Ontario.
Honourary pallbearers will be all of Aileen’s grandchildren.
