

He was born on January 3, 1932 in LaVallee, ON to William and Jenny Lockman. He was raised on the family farm and from a young age learned to work hard, shoveling gravel to help out at home. As a young man he moved to Atikokan and hauled fuel between Thunder Bay and Atikokan. He worked at Caland Mine as a supervisor before venturing out on his own, buying a grader. He graded Highway 622 for years before it was paved and often spoke about how to took him 3 days to get done from top to bottom. He was united in marriage to Carmen Innes and together they built a beautiful cabin at Turtle Lake. They loved being there, visiting with friends, fishing and hunting. A large piece of Al was lost when Carmen passed away in 2008.
Allan was predeceased by his parents and siblings Donald, Herbert, Wilfred, Kenneth, Norman and Edith.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and neighbours.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
