Barbara Marr

June 18, 1958December 30, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Gail Marr announces her passing on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at the LaVerendrye General Hospital. Barbara was born June 18, 1958 to Jack and Muriel Marr. She grew up in Fort Frances, where she spent most of her life. Barbara loved her books, watching tv, her pets Trinket and Willow. She was a very talented cross stitcher, she left us with many beautiful works. She will be missed by her sisters Peggy Adams and Sandra Marr; brother Jim Marr and wife Brenda; brother-in-laws Tim Tucker and Eric Saranpaa as well as several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Jack and Muriel; siblings Jack, Judy, Wendy, Nancy, Cathy and Susan and her nieces Aimee, Tammy and great niece Mckalia. Cremation has taken place and due to COVID 19 Restrictions there will be no public memorial service at this time. If friends so desire in memoriam donations may be made to Friends of the Library or Riverside Health Care in care of Green Funeral Home, Box 427, 600 Reid Avenue, Fort Frances, ON, P9A 3M8.

Barb was a wonderful neighbour when we first moved here. An animal lover she would cat sit for us . A wonderful artist and a kind soul. My condolences to the family.

Brenda, Jim and families. I am so sorry to hear that Barb passed away. Seger and I will miss our visits with her at Rainycrest. She loved seeing Barb as Barb loved seeing Seger Always had a treat for her. Barb had such a kind heart. ❤️
