Christine Mary "Christi" Polz

Christi was born on Monday, November 13, 1950 in Fort Frances, Ontario and had lived there all her life. In her younger years she enjoyed helping her mother at home with the housework, cooking and gardening. She enjoyed doing puzzles and loved her cats. In 1973 she travelled to Germany where she was able to visit her extended family.

Left to cherish her memory is her father Edward, her brother Gerry and wife Mary and nephew Raymond, all of Fort Frances. Also surviving are her aunts, Irene Nolte, Pauline Schneider and Helene Forsterling, all of Germany as well as many cousins.

She was predeceased by her mother Stefania Polz (Greger).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Father Victor DeGagne will officiate followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening, June 17 from 7 until 8:00 pm at Green Funeral Home. Vigil prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m.

The pallbearers will be Larry Kivimaki, Ray Stewart, Raymond Polz, Nick Shepanski, Tom Foley and Murray Hogan.
