Dennis Bouchard

Dennis was born on November 22, 1945 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 1955 his parents, John and Kirsti, bought Mudge’s Resort. Dennis lived at camp all his life, only leaving to complete high school. The camp was his life, he loved being there. He taught himself to fix anything and everything, he even built a turbine generator to power the camp. During the quiet winters he built furniture from local trees, using a homemade sawmill and plainer.

He leaves behind his wife Brenda; father John; sister-in-law Colleen Pruys and her children Shannon and Jeffery as well as numerous relatives in Quebec.

Dennis was predeceased by his mother Kirsti in 2006.

At Dennis’ request cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
