John Dale Kirk

John was born March 21, 1951 in Fort Frances, Ont., to the late Earl Sr and Vivian Kirk.

John was united in marriage to Diny Kirk on Nov.15, 1980 who predeceased him on Nov 27, 2014.

He is also predeceased by his parents, Earl Sr and Vivian Kirk; and brother, Earl Kirk Jr.

John worked for Armstrong construction before moving on to become a custodian at the Catholic school board until retirement.

John enjoyed his time outdoors and the company of family. Boating, fishing and being at the cabin were his favourite things to do.

John has departed us to enjoy the companionship of his soul mate Diny Kirk.

John is survived by his son Kristopher (Leah) Kirk of Thunder Bay, Ont., and daughter Lindsay (Richard) Ivanowich of Fort Frances, Ont.

Also surviving are four grandchildren who he loved and cherished, Delcie Ivanowich, and Liam, Mikaela, and Madison Kirk.

He also leaves to mourn is his brother Ray (Linda) Kirk; sister Anne (Delbert) Deschamps; sister-in-law Sandy (Gord); Alan (Shawn); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date to celebrate John’s life.

The Honourary pallbearers will be all his family and friends.
