Kenneth "Kenny" Rousseau

It is with great sadness the family of Kenny Rousseau announce his sudden passing on Monday November 4th 2019.

Kenny was born on August 2nd 1961 in Fort Frances Ontario to Oliver (Bud) and Winnifred Rousseau. Kenny was united in marriage to Lori Bruyere on August 4th 1984. They were blessed with their son David in 1986.

Ken was a bush worker born and bred. He held many different positions over the years from driving log truck to running heavy equipment. In his spare time Kenny enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time at his cabin on Stanji, baking cookies or just cooking in the kitchen. His son David and grandchildren Axton and Malenah were his pride and joy, and was happiest when surrounded by his family.

Kenny leaves behind his wife Lori, son Dave and daughter in-law Ashley and his grandchildren Axton and Malenah. Brothers Gerry (Barb), Bob (Wendy), Bill (Annie) and sister Annette (Jack).

Brother in-laws Arden, Gregg (Connie), sisters in law Joanne, Jade and special friend Lana Mainville. As well as numerous nieces and nephews who all held a special place in his heart.

Kenny was predeceased by his parents Bud and Winnie, his brother David, brother Dale, his in-laws Marvin and Catherine Bruyere and brother in-law Colin Bruyere.

Honorary Pallbears will include Bill Rousseau, Trevor Hands, Gregg Bruyere, Al and Curtis Boivin and Jeff Grandbois.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday November 9th 2019 at 1:00pm at the Couchiching Rec Centre.

So sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. I have many happy childhood memories of hanging out with my cousin and his family in the Fort. My condolences to the Rousseau family and to his wife Lori and son Dave. Our lives were all richer for having had Kenny in it.
