Patricia Irene McCuaig (nee Bell)

Patricia was born on July 9, 1925 in Stratton, Ontario to the late William and Ruth Bell. She lived in the district all of her life. She had worked for many years at the Food Basket and was also the owner/operator of the Rijnol Jewellery and China Shop with her husband Jack and Pat and Marg Bartel. She loved gardening and flowers and birdwatching. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at “The Farm” on River Road. She had several hobbies which included scrapbooking and knitting. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans and every new baby received one.

Pat is survived by her brothers Ivan Bell (Marilyn) and David Bell (Dianne) all of Fort Frances, ON and sisters-in-law June McCuaig of White Rock, BC and Helen McCuaig of Thunder Bay, ON. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Ruth Bell, husband Jack McCuaig, brother Gordon Bell and sister Marie Bodnarchuk.

Funeral services will be held on Thurs, March 3, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ontario. Pastor Ralph Fluit will officiate followed by interment in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.

The pallbearers will be Joe Kubera, Lindsay Bell, Brent McCuaig, Frank Myers, Don Bodnarchuk and Andrew Gerber
