Rudy Anderson

August 9, 1965 – June 22, 2022
Obituary of Rudy Anderson
It is with profound sorrow that the family of Rudy Anderson announces his passing on Wednesday, June 22 at his home in Fort Frances.

Rudy was born on August 9, 1965 in Toronto, Ontario. The family moved to Fort Frances when he was an infant. He loved Fort Frances and was proud to call it home. He worked at the local paper mill for years before travelling west for work. He worked in Fort McMurray for a few years before taking a job at the local Gold Mine. He loved to play hockey, race stock cars and play baseball. His summers were spent hunting and fishing and his winters on projects in the garage.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Wendy; children Erika (Darren) and Wes (Stacy); granddaughter Mylee; mother Betty McKinnon; brother Jim Anderson; aunts and uncles Val (Ray) Calder, Jean Robins, Tim Fowler (Anita) Doreen Durrani (Sheragha), David Fowler, Everett (Michelle) and Laurie Dale; brother-in-law Walter Prymak (Laurie) and nephew Brett Prymak.

Rudy was predeceased by his father Wes Anderson; step father Al McKinnon; in-laws Walter and Lucille Prymak.

Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held.

If friends so desire in memoriam donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes or the Liver Foundation.
