Stacey Lee Bluebird, 39, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on April 4th 2012. He was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on June 19, 1972. He was a very friendly and out-going person. He was respected for who he was and well-liked by numerous friends.
Stacey had many interests and hobbies. He loved his artwork and painting. He loved to socialize and help out others. He spent a lot of his days volunteering at the Anishnawbe Health Toronto. He also enjoyed spending time at the Allan Gardens Park in Toronto because of the white flowers. He was very traditional and loved to dance powwow.
He is survived by his mother Margarete Bluebird of Winnipeg, his father Roland Bluebird of Thunder Bay, Ontario, sister Sherri Bluebird of Winnipeg, brothers Ronald Bluebird (Leah) of Sault St. Marie, Ontario and Edwin Bluebird (Jade) of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Nieces Sharla Bluebird (Hector) of Winnipeg, Shawna Buebird ( Franklyn) of Winnipeg, Shanida Bluebird of Winnipeg, Raven Guiboche-Bluebird of Winnipeg, Katie and Kaya Boshey of Lac La Croix F. N., Ontario. Nephews Alan Tarnowski Jr. of Airdrie, Alberta and Alex Boshey of Lac La Croix F. N., Ontario. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his younger brother Terrence Lee Bluebird.
A traditional service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Roundhouse at Lac LaCroix First Nation. Elder Jim Windego will officiate followed by interment in the Lac LaCroix First Nation Cemetery.
A wake will be held on Friday evening, April 13, 2012 at the Roundhouse at Lac LaCroix First Nation.
The pallbearers will be his family and friends.
