I was saddened to hear of Tina's passing. I have wonderful childhood memories of sleepovers at her house on Rainy River First Nation. Tina truly made each person she met feel like they were her best friend. She was wicked kind and fun to be around. My condolences to Jim, Kim, siblings and her family members (that were like siblings), nieces, nephews and the Rainy River First Nation community. Such an extraordinary loss. Peace and Love Jennifer (Allan) Nichol

I was sadden today to learn of the death of one of my childhood bestfriends Tina. I hadn't seen her since moving away but often think of all the good times we had playing sports or just hanging out on Manitou Rapids. I learned many things from her there and experienced many traditional and cultural events. My condolences to her friends and family. Tobacco will be put down and prayers up. Like our grade 8 Volleyball team that we won silver and bronze medals with. https://youtu.be/YNoLJy68ZcE

Tina was a good friend to me in elementary school and high school. It’s heartbreaking to hear this news. I can see Tina in my primary Donald Young School class picture. My condolences to the family and friends.
