Vernon Silver

Vernon was born December 28, 1926 in Bergland, ON to Gerhard and Ellen Silver. He grew up in Bergland and worked across the Rainy River District in various paper mills. He played in a band on the weekends, playing at Dances in Rainy River to Atikokan and even into Minnesota.

He leaves behind his children Sylvia, Vernon, Wayne, Gail, Melissa and Derek; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Elder and Verna as well as several nieces and nephews.

Vernon was predeceased by his parents; daughters Cheryl and Maureen and siblings Fritz, Erling, Vincent, Hilard, Signild, Gerard and Ronald.

Cremation has taken place and due to COVID 19 Restrictions there will be no public service.
