

Born May 8, 1963, in Indianapolis to Raymond and Janette Billet, Alan made South Florida his home. A skilled Maintenance Lead at Heico Aerospace for the past decade, he was known for his dedication and expertise. But more than anything, Alan was simply one of a kind—a kind soul, full of life, always ready to lend a hand, and blessed with the gift of making everyone feel like an old friend. His warmth and generous spirit touched countless lives, and was loved by all that had the opportunity to meet him.
Alan was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 33 years, Kimberly, and his mother, Janette.
He leaves behind his father, Raymond Billet; sisters Cynthia Lewis (Wayne) of Royal Palm, FL, and Rebecca Billet (Taylor) of Herriman, UT; son Christopher Ray (Jennifer) of Evansville, IN; daughter Trisha Manis (Evan) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren Madison Dube (Timothy), Andrew, Zachary, Taylor, and Maximus; great-granddaughter Kimberlyn; and his dear friends at Webby’s , Kevin, Ilona, and Abbi, along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2025, from 11 - 12 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Davie Rd, Ft. Lauderdale, followed by a funeral service at 12 PM and committal at 1 PM. Pastor Albert Gerena of Taft Street Baptist Church will officiate.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at West Side Regional and Cleveland Clinic for their exceptional care.
